Painting tank trim

Is there any certain type of paint that works best? Or does it even matter?

Just sand it down and use a spray paint for plastics

I dont think it would matter to much, some of the tanks with the woodgrain trim are stickers and the paint might not stick to well.

You really wont get anything that'll last any length of time.

Yes, Get something made for plastic. prep the plastic good
( sand ) and then put a few coats of clear on so the finish will last.
