I think I already know the answer to this but any thoughts on making a larger model of the MP40W? Some of us have larger tanks and I would love to see a Vortech that could outperform the Tunze 6305 at 7,925 gal/h.

Hi Mark,
We don't comment on what the future may or may not bring. Sorry about this.

Believe me, it's more painful for me than you. We have tons of cool stuff going on and can't ever talk about it. Considering how much I like to talk, it's torture!

When I was at MACNA one of the reps there said something about a pump being in the works for tanks with thicker glass, I would imagine that would be a bit larger as well.

There is a good reason for silence on these things. There is a famous story about Kaypro computers (olden days). They had a conference where they talked about how awesome their next generation computer was going to be. They convinced everyone, and tons of people decided to wait until that next generation. Shortly after that, their sales plummeted and they went out of business.
On a related note, just got a pair of MP40Ws today and I have been really impressed. I love how minimal they are in the tank. Hardly noticeable at all, and the controller is great.
