Frag rack color question

Building a frag tank and wanted to know if people were painting the egg create black? Casue i see them often in people tank being black. If so what is a safe paint to use? I hate the white look the black is so much cleaner looking.

Krylon Fusion is a black spraypaint ppl have used in their tanks with no problems. Otherwise you can go to Bulkreefsupply and order their 24x24 black eggcrate. If you do order it be sure to take advantage of the extra shipping charges and order some other stuff.

I have gotton my Krylon (for plastics) from Home Depot and used it just fine...the only issue is that if you do ever clean it, some of it can chip away under water pressure...

It'll be covered in purple coraline in no time so don't worry about color.

BFS is sold out may try the HD Kryon. The reason i wanted to do black is because I find that anything white builds up algae fast. May not be true but I also like the look compared to the white.

I think the black EC just hides the agae better than the white. I'm painting mine with Fusion black...
