Chaeto question

It's getting so thick, I have to prune it, but when I went to throw out a bucketful, there was so many pods, mini serpents, snails, and worms, I couldn't bring myself to kill all this life. What to do to save all these critters? I put it back in the sump/fuge and clouded the crap out of the tank. Any suggestions are really welcome, I can't kill all this life. Thanks, John.

I posted on several local boards, and the swarms came! And a huge bag is going to Khaos out on the left coast. When it need pruning again, I'll do it all over again. Jay, how much room 'ya got in the sump/fuge?

Shake it around in your tank, a lot of it will come off and hopefully feed some of your corals.
