I have a 180g (72x24x24) reef tank that currently has a Yellow, Hippo, and Naso tang in it. I wanted to add 3 Convict tangs. Would I have a problem doing that or should I just add 1. I read that 2 of them would not work because they would fight.

I have READ that convicts are on the bottom of the totem pole as far as tangs go... apparently they dont have the tail spike and get picked on severly by other tangs which is the only reason i dont have a convict tang..
disclaimer this is just something i have read on the internet and you know how the internet is and i have no personal experience with convict tangs

If you read through my thread starting here...

You can see my thoughts on a group of convicts. I was initially a huge fan and now am not.
I think around 10 pages later I had to use a fish trap to catch three of the four out.
But if you still want to add a group of convicts, I think you'd be better off adding three than you would adding one, it would help spread the aggression out more.
Of course that would mean you have 6 tangs in a 180g tank... which isnt really ideal.
