Thank You

Wow! Those are AWESOME!!!!

I love how that fire fish looks like he just fades off to the side. I really like all the fish pictures with the black backgrounds. They are just stunning.

these shots are beautiful!
what kind of camera are you using?

Thank you ibanezgfx :)

I'm using a Nikon D200 with a 50mm f1.8 lens, I simply love this lens and what a steal for the price.

Very nice pics. Are all those fish in the 110G?

Very nice shots. the only thing I noticed is that the iso is pretty high. other than that they look great...

ISO 400 is pretty high on a D200? Are you insane? Which of his shots has so much unbearable noise? I really don't see it. Great work by the way rider!!

Ignore my question, you took the pics form LFS.

Very nice. Personally i feel like a few of the compostions have the subject a little close to the edge (for my taste). I tend to like a little more neutral space between the subject and the edge of the frame but that is just me. Not to say centered. just not so compressed on one side. I tend to find if the subject is that close tot he dge the eye is drawn out of the picture instead of just moving and exploring around within the image. Just my 2 cents. Great exposures though!

Those pictures are great! I love the cardinal and chromis pics the best. I also have the 50mm f1.8 for my d80. your right it was a great price for the lens.

How do you make your shots come out so only the subject is there and everything else is black?

I am interested in the black background too.

Thanks Whisperer, Huricaneredbone, Titusvilesurfer, IPT, Alexander180 and mesamech.

For the blackbackground : These picture are taken at my LFS, the FO tanks have a black background already so I try to isolated the fish so I only see the black background. Usually with the bokeh and my shutterspeed, it's coming out black and clean like in the cardinal pictures, and something I have to clean it up a little bit because we see sand flying around.

That's what I thought, the black really makes the fish pop! I guess that adds to the sales for the LFS.

That's awesome. I have a black background and have yet to have a shot come out even near that black. Great pics.
