View Full Version : Armageddon 2 placement?

I picked up an Armageddon 2, as well as a couple other new paly's last week-end at our local fragswap.

After I brought it home, it opened right up when I set in the frag rack for awhile. Later I mounted everything, but it hasn't opened since.

I've tried multiple areas for placement >>> medium light w/ high flow, lower-> mid light w/ medium flow, high light + high flow ...
No luck now.
My tank is pretty much high -> medium light with higher flow.
It opened with high light and medium flow, but nothing now.

Anyone got any recommendations on these? Paly's are usually so easy.

How is Armageddon 2 different from Armageddon?

Not sure why it's different, but Tyree named it Armageddon II.

I'm a little impatient because I just lost a Tubb's Blues colony frag that started acting like this one. Plus ... this thing wasn't cheap.

did you get it from mechenginer i have one write now its siting close to the top under the water about three inchs with 175 halide it is fine last swap up hear i bought one and had no luck with it if you go to western ohio reefer sight you can find her

The only zoa or paly I see on Reeffarmers is the Capt America. When did Tyree name an Armageddon? (or did someone dupe you?)

That's quite a beautiful paly in that shot. I hope it opens and grows into an enormous sheet of many polyps.
