I'm very happy with mine on my 240.

The only issue I have is that after some power failures one of the pumps sometimes doesn't restart and I need to take it apart and sometimes trim the mesh

No clue why people buy these. They were great at the get go, but you can get the same skimmer for round 400bux. And you can get askoll based skimmers for 300 less.

but they are a great company, and they were the first skimmer company to market a mesh modded sicce pump, so big props to them for that. ...just too expensive now in the modern skimmer game.

I love my BM250, but if the MSX and SWC skimmers had been out at the time, I would have bought one of them.
I am a little tired of dealing with the sicce pumps and am looking at one of the askoll powered skimmers.
If a used one could be found, you might be able to get a good deal on it.

They have pin-wheels for scicce pumps that make them much more relyable.

I had one for a year. It was a good skimmer, but the lack of reliability of the Sicce pumps made me sell the skimmer. I tried new mesh, pinwheels, new shafts, etc... on both pumps and they just would not restart without hassle.

I now use a Deltec AP851. The reliability is rock solid, most likely due to the Eheim pump. Buyer beware: Don't let the price of Deltec make you believe you are getting quality; you are getting a product made from the cheapest acrylic available.
