how to catch a spearer

I live in an area dense with mantis now i can catch the smashers no prob but I have yet catch a spearer. They make holes everywhere and Ive seen their raptorial claws on the beach several times, one was an inch and a half. Any advise would be great cuz I cant make them come out of their holes.

i have a mantis in a 200 reef how the hell do i catch him i here him every night poopn my snales but only seen him a couple times in the last 6 mounths
