A KVM switch permits sharing of a keyboard, mouse, & monitor between computers... won't help a bit in this case. What you want is called a wireless game adapter, or wireless Ethernet port adapter. Any Linksys product that has a model number beginning with WGA should work nicely. D-Link and other similar companies also make them.

What's the model of the access point? How does / through what it communicate with your ISP?

i dont know the model. will look when i get home. it communicates with the wireless router located 2 floors from the aquacontroller. it doesnt connect directly to my isp.
