Hi,
got a magnifica anemone( ritteri) last week
its in its current position with lots of striong and week random current and its less then 1ft below a 3x250W MH spreading across 72inches tank.

however,i notice that its tentecles arent as big as what i saw in the lfs i got.

it look like that now. the tentecle was double the size of one when i got it. It was already like that for 6days.

It seem OK. Higher current cause the tentacles shrink to smaller diameter. As long as it does not deflate daily, it should be OK

I will have to agree.Looks just fine to me.I would also think that being in a higher then lower flow would do this to the anemone.

But it selected the spot itself. It moved over from a lower flow area.. So do i leave it alone?

Leave it be. H. magnifica does not need a really high flow area. They do well with moderate flow.
