Vortech external clearance

I'm considering swapping out my 4 Tunze 6055s for 2 Vortech MP40s. First of all, will this still provide sufficient flow? I've got a 60" wide and 30" deep 185g tank. I worry a bit about going from 4 powerheads (and a wavebox, BTW) to just the 2 Vortechs, despite that they can push more water. Next, can someone that has the MP40s tell me how large the external unit is? My tank is in an alcove like area and I only have 2" between the tank and wall on one side and 3" on the other side.

2 1/2 - 3". Thats with my spacer set at for Aqueon 50breeder glass thickness.

The dry side is ~ 2.25" long.

Thanks - so it doesn't look like I'll be able to fit one on one side of my tank. I'll have to think about possibly positioning them on the back. Any thoughts on the flow vs 4 Tunze 6055s and the wavebox? I'd love to get them all out of my tank and replace them with the Vortechs, but don't want to sacrifice any flow.
