I have a zero edge aquarium, where the water flows over the sides. Is there any way to custom make an MP20 unit with a waterproof dry side?

Thanks

Hi alphatango-

Unfortunately we don't currently build custom stuff. This may be pretty hard to do, or impossible, though. The pumps really were not designed to be water proof.

Thanks for the quick response. I am going to try mounting the Vortech on the bottom of the tank. Hopefully I can get the kind of flow I want.

Thanks

I've never used one, but another option is a Dry Dock. Do a RC Search or even Yahoo! Search for Dry Dock Vortech. Here's one that was for sale last month.

I ended up mounting the Vortech from the bottom of the tank. The wet side is under some rocks so it diverts the flow nicely. Its on one side of the tank and I can still see the flow all the way to the other end of the tank. What an awesome powerhead
