i want to ditch my 400watt spider reflector setup for a 250 watt setup. its just too much on my power bill. im looking at several of the lumenbright style reflectors but they barely fit in my canopy. there would only be about 5 inches between the reflector and the water so im wondering if i can cut holes in the top of my canopy and set the reflectors above the cutouts? will this work? thanks
Ben

You may want to consider one of the new Hamilton Cayman Sun reflectors:

I am running a couple of the 250 watt Cayman Sun and they are bright!

We tested the PAR of a Phoenix bulb on a LumenMax and one the Cayman Sun. It was 1.5 times more PAR on the Cayman Sun.
