I have a tyree superman monti, and need to know what the best placement is to keep the blue base and red pollup.

Would also love some pics if you have them!!!

Mine is about 2/3's down in my 24 inch deep tank. I have 250 watt SE Reeflux 12k's in lumenbrights, and the monti looks great. Flow is relatively low too btw.

I have mine half way up the tank right under a 400W radium

mines pretty happy 1/2 way up under full t5 lighting.

cool, good to know, so sounds like they will go on the bottom of my tank, I have a 20L with 4 T5's. So on the bottom, the coral is about 16" from the lights

I would place it about 12 inches from the light if you strat to see problems then move it lowere or up some!

My superman Monit bleached out on me at about 9 inches from my 150W MH in a 12" tank... I've got it down on the sand bed right now and its finally starting to get its color back.. probably close to 15-16" from the light now

awe, who wants one of these anyways? they grow, grow and keep growing. heck its starting to swallow up my Oregon tort!!
I have a 6"x6" piece if anyone is interested?

they do quite well around 12in level...hold the nice blue and super red polyps...i'll try to take a photo 2-night.
