Do clown fish eat veggies? I want to feed my clown and watchman goby something other than the flakes and mysis shrimp. Thanks

I feed my clowns (( 3 pairs, 2 of which are spawning )) a variety of food, "veggies" included.

I use;
LifeLine's Herbivore mix
Rod's food --- Red, Blue and Green labels
Prime Reef
Mysis
Spectrum pellets.

My black and white clowns eat romaine lettuce.

Would be better off giving them Nori. There isn't much to romaine, and if it isn't at least blanched first very hard for them to digest.

A fancy term for sea weed. :) Can actually find it in a bigger grocery store, in the Asian section. I believe that it is also used to wrap sushi up, or whatever it is called.

Hmmm, I'll head to the nearest Asian Market asap. Thanks!!

Todd, does it need to be blanched?

Spinach is much better than Romaine Lettuce, though not quite as good as Nori.

Both of my clowns will eat anything that hits the water, including attempts at my fingers haha
