Never have ran one of these but the owner of my LFS told me to look into one for the longevity of my fish, especially my tangs he said. Just wondering how many of you run these and if they are worth the money. Also what brands are better.

This is a very debated topic and there are many topics that cover it try a search and see what all you come up with. As far as models I use a gamma sterilizer on my freshwater tanks due to the fact that it uses a t-5 bulb that is very powerful i also us a slower pump to maximize exposure time. others use turbo twist, and lifeguard, just to name a couple
