does anyone know if these lights have mounting brackets or can you only hang them.

you can only hang them, unless you rig something up yourself.

I have a shelf on each end of my canopy that my lights sit on. I can slide the fixture in and out easily for maintenance but it takes 2 people.

The Powermodules are heavy. The Sunpowers on the other hand are very light.
