I have a 4-1/2" Purple Tang, a 4-1/2" Kole Tang, and three 4" Yellows in a 375gal SPS reef tank. My question is - what is the chance that a 4" Regal Angel would be accepted?
Thanks

You shouldn't have any problems.... Lights out for a day or 2, or hang a mirror... they should work out the territories within a few days... How is your purple tang with new entries??

... How is your purple tang with new entries?? He can get pretty nasty - but it's seems like it's just the first have hour, or so.

I had a beautiful 6 Inch yellow belly for over 2 year, that died in a tank move... He was a huge challenge the first month I had him... Only food he would eat was clams on half shell.... Then after 6-8 weeks he would eat water column foods...
I was at my local fish store 2 weeks ago, and the had a gray belly regal for sale... I asked if he was eating, and threw some pellets and mysid in, and he attacked the food... So I bought him sight unseen... After 10 days in my tank, he is doing great... I have 2 other large angel in with him, that pestered him for the first 5-7 days.... That all calmed down... I used some mirrors and pictures of other angels, and would you believe it did the trick...
Also have a few tangs.... Blue Hippo, Red Sea Sailfin, and small Purple tang, no issues... Purple is a small guy... 2.5 inches...

My purple tang beats up newbies , just to make sure they know who's boss. But once that gets finished he leaves them alone.

why not use a specimen container first? hang it in the aquarium so the other fish can see the fish

Thanks for all the input!
