I am planning on creating a grassbed/lagoon biotope

It will have various seagrass/macroalgae
firefish
jawfish
gobies
some lps coral like trach/lobo/acans

It is a 200 gallon tank and i was thinking of like 3 or so of them.....

What kind would you recommend...? Is my tank safe for them to be in?

Thanks
Zack

(the pipefish must not be agressive in any manner)

Trachyphyllia spp. are described as "voracious feeders that are often adept at capturing small fishes." Thus, they are on my list of corals that I would not consider for a passive fish tank, including firefish, pipefish, mandarins, and most gobies. It is not a risk that I am willing to take. I also would not house those fish with anemones, Heliofungia spp., Euphyllia spp., or Catalaphyllia jardinei.

specieswise, the most readily available "grassbed" dwellers are:

Syngnathoides biaculeatus (alligator pipefish)

Syngnathus fuscus (northern pipefish)

Syngnathus scovelli (gulf pipefish)

none of these pipes are agressive at all...in fact, i know of no pipes that are aggressive towards "fin fish" they can't eat.
