Whats the difference between Favia's, Candy canes, Chalice's, acans, acan Lord's and all those other dudes? They all kinda seem the same to me...

Thats kind of like saying whats the difference between a corvette, mustang, camaro, viper, and a challenger? They all kind of look the same.

Its a very broad question. Do some searches on lps, or large polyp stoney, etc. Or do a specific search on a coral you are interested in.

In general, all the corals you listed will have skeletal differences, color differences, polyp size and formation differences, and general shape differences. The world of lps corals is vast and interesting. Good luck with your research.

The differences would take a lot longer to list than the similarities. If "they all kinda seem the same..." to you, then it's time you take a closer look at each of them.
