Tub's Real Deal echinata, does anyone have this anymore? I don't see it around more often and wonder if it still exists.

Here a pic of Tub's mother colony.

I see. Any pics of it? IMO it looks very nice... on of the nicer corals out there. Tub's always had a bunch of good ones. I have always wonder why this coral isn't talked about more.

Is it hard to keep? I know many echinata can be a bit touchy. Maybe that's way it not out there as mach as some of the others.

No pictures of mine as its between my PL colony and my PM colony. I just cant get it into focus. :spin2:

Its a cool looking coral and Tony (SPStoner) also had a nice one if I can remember correctly. I know of a handfull of people that still have this coral.

Yep, I glued to the side of a rock and as the others started to grow out, it really had to compete for light and flow. For me, It took a while for it to take off because of that, but now, its really happy.

I am not sure if this coral will ever catch on. It is sensitive to tank condition and a poor shipper.

I remember trading this coral to Snipersps about 5 years ago, Im not sure if he lost it in a tank crash; but if he still has it it should be quite large by now. Maybe he will chime in with a photo. When I got out of the hobby a few years ago I sold mine. Maybe I can dig up a photo off my other computer :)
