I do not have a picture, but maybe someone has seen it before.
If I can describe this accurately, I would say the algae is in 2 areas of my sand bed. These two areas of it are not that big around but obviously noticeable since the algae is grey to black looking. It is not fuzzy, stringy, or a sheet covering the sand. Just seems like it's thin gray/black areas on two parts of the sand.
Any ideas? I'm going to siphon it. Just curious if this would indicate something that I should know of.
