View Full Version : BRS "Reef Saver" Dry Rock

Does anyone have pictures of their Reef Saver rock? I am pretty sure Im going to use about 75lb on my new tank SPS tank (42x27x21). I would like to see other peoples rocks and their experiences with it.

Does anyone have any pictures of the dry rock as it came out of the box or setup in their tanks?

This is all BRS Dry Figi rock and BRS shelf rock going in my mothers 40B.

I have it in my 75G as about 75% of the rock in there, both figi premium and shelf also.

How many pounds of dry rock is that ? (if you don't mind)

Well its 25 lbs of the Figi Dry Rock, and about 5-10 of the shelf. Its actually a lot more rock than it looks like.

BRS, can you tell me approximately how much rock is in this pic?

I will be ordering my rock soon for my 42x27x21 tank. I am going to do 2 moderate sized islands similar to the above pic, but with out the rock connececting the 2 sides. I would like to islands made up of no more the 3 or 4 large pieces of rock. How much & what size to you recommend I order?

pretty sure it is around 75 pounds and would fit a 90 or 75 gallon tank
