Hello,

I have been using a dual 250w PFO MH Ballast Link (http://www.marinedepot.com/PFO_250_Watt_Dual_Metal_Halide_Ballast_Assembled_250_Watt_Magnetic_Metal_Halide_Ballasts-PFO_Lighting-PF1612-FILTACBAMHTFMBFA-vi.html) for a few years now and I am wanting to push my bulbs with a better, more efficient ballast. I plan to swap over to IceCap Ballasts Link (http://www.marinedepot.com/IceCap_250_Watt_Electronic_Metal_Halide_HQI_Ballast_250_Watt_Electronic_Metal_Halide_Ballasts-IceCap-IC3111-FILTACBAMHTFEB-IC3161-vi.html), but am not 100% sure how these hookup. I am having a hard time finding any pictures that show the connections and not just the ballast itself. From what I can gather I need possibly buy this female connector Link (http://www.fishnreef.com/lighting/metal-halide/separate-components/icecap-ballast/pfo-icecap-convert-plug/prod_1411.html). Although, I am also wondering if I couldn't just open up my existing PFO ballast and remove these 2 connectors and re-use them.? If anyone has done this or has any insight for me I would be grateful.

Regards,
Brian

The icecaps use computer-style power cables. Here is what you need:
http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10228&cs_id=1022805&p_id=1299&seq=1&format=2

You plug one end into the icecap connector, and cut the other end off to wire to your endcaps
