Hello,
I have a 180 SPS dominant with a heavy bioload. I'm considering making a purchase for the above skimmer. However, the kimmer is rated up to 400gallons. Will this be too much for my tank? Also, what would be a good feed pump for this?
Please advise, thank you.

You are borderline too large but it will work well with a large bioload. I have this skimmer running on my 180gal and it is working fairly well. Is it a perfect fit, not quite but does allow room for future expansion. Any feed pump that pushes 200-400 gallons. The way the feed is placed on this skimmer the actual feed rate is dependent on the system.

Which of the External Super Reef Ocotopus would be a perfect fit for my neeed? I don't think that I will ever go any bigger than this 180. Please advise, thank you.
