I came into some extra money today so tomoro i am going to pick up a amazing color morph of a cynarina. Ive never had one before and Im wonderin how much light its going to need. I have a cool spot im thinking about putting it but its got some cover n its not the brightest spot in my tank. Theres a pic below of the area, its just behind the ricordea on the right... u can see what i mean by its a little shaded... it is a bit brighter than it looks in that pic. I figure if it does well under PCs I can put it there. worst case scenario i can remove the plate rock making the bridge above it to give it more light...

Medium light and medium flow. Try it there and if it doesn't do well move it a bit more to the light. Might be the best strategy anyway.

Also, there's a great forum here for LPS corals where people can give you more specific answers. Good luck!

keep it shaded and in gentle current and it'll blow up like a balloon.
