I just recently purchased a replacement set of filters from you guys, and my DI is already turning orange. What could be the casue of that? I replaced all filters except for the RO membrane less than a month ago.

Ralph either you RO membrane is failing or your municipal water plant is currently using a low pH high CO2 water source. If you can get a tds reading of your RO water before DI, after the system has been running for a few minutes, in a clean glass container that will tell us a lot.

Thanks for the response. I am working alot of overtime currently, so it may take me a day or so to check this. I will post back though.

Did you get it figured out?

Inquiring minds... :)

By the way, sorry about yesterday. The Hogs made a game of it!

At this point I am going to order all new filters I believe. Start from new.

The Gators should be sending Tejada (field goal kicker) several fruit baskets or something to thank him for his poor performance!!

The outcome may have been different if he made the two field goals he missed.

Get me that RO reading so I know where your membrane is at. Be sure to run the system for a few minutes first to get past the tds creep.

Before or after I change the membrane and other filters?

Do it before you make the change and wait before you change the membrane.
