woops. hit enter too soon.
so is the ferric hydroxide the same as any of the stuff that they sale online like the ROWA or the Kent stuff. Says it removes phosphates. Has any one used this stuff? Are there any reprocutions with using this stuff? Seems to me that it is a lot cheeper and if it works the same or if i have to change it more often than i think it is probly worth it.

It is the same basic material yes. Exactly what the available surface area for any given brand isn't known. I wouldn't assume it is better or worse than other brands.

yes its the same use it at a slow flow for you tank
as it is strong and could wipe out your tank

so i plan on using this stuff in a reactor. Just do the same as i would with the ROWA.
Wash it out with ro water, add to reactor, flow into a bucket and then run.
