What is the best way to clean you test tubes after using them?
I have just been rinseing them out with ro water and then let them dry on a rack that i built out of chop sticks.

Thats pretty much the way chemist do it; generally speaking they might rinse and dump 4-5 times with RO/DI (or distillled) before air drying. I always rinse with the water to be tested just before an actual test.

I just rince them with RO/DI water & let them dry.

ctripi....if you rince them before you do your tests. If there is RO/DI water in them, that will change the volume of water that you add to the tube from your tank. It may be a very very small amount, but it can change the test result.

Very true, and something to be mindful of.

But he said he rinses with the test water :)
