Was surveying my tank this morning and I spotted this thing burrowed inside my substrate. It's about an 1-1/4" long.

Anyone have any idea what this is?

yea, I can't ID it for sure but better safe then sorry. Get it out then post some pics and try to figure it out. Better to pull it out and put it back in if it is okay then not pull it and have it cause harm and you not find it again...
Just judging on the mouth of that thing I would give it the circular motion burial at sea...

OK. Tried getting it out with some tweezers. This thing is lighting fast. Don't know how I'm gonna get it out now.
