What is a good fish that will eat feather or razor caulerpa and hair algea, or just the caulerpa? I was thinking of a yellow tang, would that be good enough to clean up a little??

The tang should eat up the caulerpa. As for the hair algae, that's hard stuff to find someone to readily eat it. You best bet is more water changes.

any bristle tooth tang will eat the hair algae and all tangs love the rest

I have found the foxface to be the most reliable lawn mower, but there are of course no gaurantees

Yep, Foxfaces work for me for caulerpa.
My Purple tang or LMB wont touch it.

What size of tank? Rabbitfish and tangs aren't a good idea if you have a smaller tank. ...and you have to feed them after they eat the algae creating a revolving door. Any of the bristletooth tangs are pretty good algae eaters.

Turbo snails will mow it down and might be a better choice. If you let me know what size of tank that you have, as well as how much rock, I can take a guess as to how many you will need.

what are your water parameters? The problem with algae is that it is because of excess nutrients and adding a fish won't necessarily solve that problem. I would probably consider getting a sea urchin.
