In my new tank I am trying to get a little zoa/paly garden in the sand. Here's what I've got so far.

Nice! I really like the colors. If you surround them with rock they will spread onto the rock, I dont think they will spread much onto sand, mine really dont.

Yeah I know thats why I have them down there. In my other tank they kinda took over. I might look for some flat rocks or something but I don't want them to take over. I also have plans to get some magnets and grown them up the glass.

I got them from various places. Some are from world wide corals, local reefers and various other LFSs

I've gotta get some of those red ones I've got an okay attempt at a zoo garden in my 45 but it needs some red. It's amazing how much color those little buttons can add to a tank. I got lucky in the sense that the guy at my lfs is a zoo nut and he always gets nice, mixed colonies. I can't wait until they start taking over all of the rocks that they are on
