Hello,

Just picked up a maroon juvenile at the LFS yesterday. It's well acclimated to my qt. Acting very healthy feeding heavily, moving about, mostly hiding behind my skimmer ( Hosting ). It has two small lesions one on the lower lip and one in front of the dorsal fin. The skin apears to be broken on the dorsal fin and the lesion is "open" very small 1mm by .5mm maybe. Not very deep. Looks like a small cut or scab. White and Pinkish in color. The lip is mostly just a loss of color not a wound. Its not widespread enough for me to make an ID of any of the usual suspects. What do you guys think.

Does the lesion appear raised and fairly smooth? I'm having a hard time telling from the photo.

If so, check out this thread as I think it might be flukes:

If you go here:

and scroll about 3/4 of the way down the page there are photos of a royal gramma with visible flukes to compare to what is on your fish.
