chiller help

So i just got a 1/3 hp chiller on a 120 gal reef tank. I am trying to pipe in the plumbing... I have a 1050gph return pump with the return flow slow down significantly if I use it to pump water throuth the chiller?

That might be too much flow for the chiller. What flow rate is the chiller rated for? If the flow is too high, it won't "chill" the water efficiently.
