I have done some searches and haven't found anything on this. I was going to go to PA tomorrow to pickup some salt for my new setup and was thinking about giving this salt a try. Does anyone know any info about this salt?
Thanks
Seen it on PA page as well, but unless is something high quality the price is not stellar. $13.5/50 gal is very close to Red Sea Coral Pro that I use and is $45/175 gal.
just my 2 cents,
Marian

That is why I was thinking, I went into chat with a person at pa he told me they have a reef salt coming out too. This is more for fowlr, I assume higher ca mg in the reef one but he didn't know the numbers and didint want to guess so that us good to see the type of people pa hires that is why I like shoping there plus it's 20 minutes from my house. I look forward to seeing some numbers from the reef salt when it comes out, from reading pa site a lot of public aquariums use it so it can't be bad. But I agree the price is steep without some numbers.
That's right. I live in Columbus (just 40 min from PA) and shop PA as often as I can. I have seen recently some big 80 maybe 100 lbs white bags of salt piled up by entrance. I was wondering what they were since there was not much written on the face and no known brand.
I don't use much salt these days (85g total water with 5g water change every other week) but I am always looking for the best.
cheers,
Marian

I doubt a "a lot" of public aquariums use that salt. That is market hype for the most part.
Most public aquariums use Instant ocean. :)
If you have an FOWLR, I see no reason to pay more for any salt.
