I am making a shopping list of what I still need. I am sure that I don't know all that I need so I need your help. I have all major stuff. Tank, stand, lights, skimmer, heaters, powerheads, test kits, RO/DI and plumbing stuff. Also have 2 reactors for carbon and phosban. I also have my sand and am getting my LR soon. I have a sump/fuge combo. Also Salt mix and refractor.

Shopping List: Reef Keeper Lite 3, float switches, tom acqatics pump ATO, and Mag 9.5

Was recommended to get Coral cleaner, Kent marine Zoe Vitamin and Garlic Xtreme to soak Nori in. Is there any other foods that I can get now. I also have nets and a mag cleaner. I am going to order a 2 part kit from BRS after I get my tank up and running.

Can you think of anything else that I should go ahead and get now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Don't forget an extra large order of patience with that! You'll be sure to need it. Sounds like you're off to a pretty good start though.

Do you have a light on your fuge? If not I'd recommend buying one alternating the timing between the display tank and the refugium it will keep you pH balanced. Also, light timers and a good GFCI going to your tank are definitely recommended, other then that it seems like you have all of your bases covered.

I have a few books and am a member of my local reef society. I had also forgot about the fuge light but had researched it already.

+1 on the books, Bornemann's Corals is excellent, also The Reef Aquarium Vol 3. And anytime you feel impatient and want to move quickly - don't.

Sounds Good, what about the magnetic glass cleaner. Make sure you get the right size cause if not they don't work well. Good Luck
Who needs stinking books when you have reefcentral!!!!
