No flaming please! I have been using tap water from a well....long story but having trouble keepings snails. After some discussion and advice here it was suggested to buy a ro/di unit or get some from my lfs. They do not sell it anymore Husband is laid off...money is scarce) and so as a temp solution I was thinking of using the above named product which is "enhanced with minerals for taste". Figure it would be substantially better than my rural farm area well water. I have not been dosing anything. Product details are listed below. Is this going to be okay for gradual water changes until I can do something else? Thanks for any help!!!!

this should answer most of your questions

and just FYI, when I tested the the TDS, my tap was 170, mineral water was 130, and RO was about 6

IMO, it would be better if you publicly posted so that others can benefit from your suggestion, or debate it if they think it not optimal.

I just offered to lend a extra r/o unit I have around the house until one can be purchased.
