need some help

i just set up my new 75 gallon tank with a berlin 200 sump. i have a piece of pvc pipe that the water sifins down into the sump from. its just inder the surface. it makes an annoying sucking sound. does anyone have a setup like this and knows how to fix this problem?

not at the moment.
i just drilled a hol in the bottom of the tank and i have a pvc that is syphining water into the sump. it just makes an annoying sucking sound.
