How much sand for a 120 set up?

I am setting up a 120, and have gotten and rinsed some sand from fellow reefers---then dried it out. It weighs about 100lbs. I bought a 40lb bag of live sand for seeding. Will all of this give me a nice deep sand bed?

Use RC's sandbed calculator, it will tell you how deep it is by the footprint. From there you can adjust accordingly -I'm thinking with what you have, it'll be about 2"-3''. T

It depends on the dimension of the tank. 60x18 tank = 3 inches or so.
