View Full Version : Any multiple sump set ups? Pics please
Hi there, In order the get extra water volume on the filtration area to add a large size refugium, how do you guys set up double sumps on a single overflow reeftank?
Do you connect both sumps with large bulkheads or does one overflow into the other?
Anyone got pics?

I'm going tp be upgrading the 3.5 gal to a 10 gal here in a couple days. I have one of the two overflow hoses going into the fuge and the other to the sump. Then i have the fuge drilled to the height that i want the water level. This then drains to the skimmer chamber of the fuge so that all water is skimmed. Hope this makes sence and helps.

basement - the pipe is on a slant and feeds to 4 different tanks

upstairs - this tank shares my display return line by teeing off, then they share a common drain line to the tanks you see downstairs. This way I have a display refugium, and a basement refugium.
