This is my first favia and I was wondering if the white stuff on it is normal? It doesn't look like a feeder tentacle to me but it does get bigger at night. If it isn't normal any ideas on what it is? It has been quarantined and hasn't spread to anything else. Thanks

I don't see anything that is out of place. Looks nice & healthy. If it comes out at night, might be a worm. Coral barnacle also is possible ( I had one in my Xmas Favia.),
Very nice Favia, congrats!

Thanks for the reply. I went back a circled the things I was talking about. They are all over the coral ridges, mouth, and sides. They don't appear to be bothering it. It does get bigger at night but it stays out for several hrs after the lights come on.

The circles drawn on the coral make it very difficult for me to see what is actually going on with your coral. Seems okay from what I can tell.
