Cutting Acrylic tank!!!

Has any one cut a fully assembled acrylic tank? Can it be done? how hard is it? and what tools do you need to do it properly?

I have done it. Took a 180 gal tank (6'x2'x2') and cut it in half.
Put them end to end to make a 12' long raceway frag tank.

I used a regular table saw. Same one I used for all other cuts. The blade obviously doesn't go through the whole tank so you are left with parts of both ends not cut.
I finished cutting the ends with a (dang - brain fart). A hand held saw. A jig saw maybe?

The ends didn't come out super straight but for my purpose I didn't care.

I imagine that if I would have used a circular saw with a guide on it to finish the end cuts that it would have come out better.
