Very nice setup with all the bells n whistles. Only thing I woulda done differently would be drop the height to 12". IMO frag tanks are about surface real estate. Cuttin the height in half would cut your heating and cooling costs down a ton along with skimmer size, maintenance, any dosing you would wanna do. Lighting would go down and especially... Utility bills.

yah i wanted to do as much water volume as possible to keep everything more stable... its in my garage and i havent needed a chiller or heater yet, i have a little cheapy fan thats blows over the sump when it hits 84.. it stays between 76 - 81 even when it was 103 outside... shockingly ive had better growth with my sps when the temp is a little on the higher side
yah i did everything as energy efficient as possible to keep my bill down , with this tank and the 2 others in my house my bill is only 300 with the kids running the ac all the time

i wanted to keep it more open so i only used minimal rock

400 lbs of live rock in the main
30 lbs rubble rock in the frag tank
1 1/2 mixed sand bed, used fiji pink and crushed coral
