View Full Version : How to get rid of hairy Mushrooms?

I have a 100 gal Reef and some how or another got a rock with a hairy mushroom and now have several. I dont really have the option of removing the rocks these are attached to. What should I do. When I do water changes I try and siphon them off the rocks...What next? Any suggestions are greatly apprectiated...

You can use kalk paste or any injectable Aiptasia control like Joe's juice. If you cut them off with a razor cover the base left behind with kalk. That way you can trade the mushrooms and get rind of them in your tank

Is kalk paste just powder Kalk. and a little RO water?
