I recently bought this item from you guys.

I really like the ease of use with it, but how accurate is the temp measurement with it? The thermometer on my tank always reads 3-4 degrees lower than the pen monitor. This is the thermometer I use.

I put the probe for the thermometer and the pen monitor in the same spot and I get these different readings.

Thanks,
Gerald

Gerald,

I would recommend getting a glass thermometer and doing a calibration with that. Then you will know exactly what type of variance you are working with.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Good idea Jeremy. I'll do that.
