I have a 60g acrylic tank. My lighting is a 4x54w t-5 HO fixture. I was told to keep it in low light and low flow so I put it in the middle of the tank near the front. Since it's euro bracing there is a 2.5" acrylic lip all the way around as well as a 2.5" brace in the center. It's placed directly under those so as to not get direct lighting from the fixture. Yesterday it was looking a little unhealthy and I was wondering if it's not enough light or maybe just adjusting since I only got it saturday. Where would you place it? Under a lip or would you put it under some direct lighting just keep it near the bottom? Thanks

I have a tyree blue chalice sitting about 8-10" deep under a 250w reeflux 12K. it's off to the side of the tank, not directly under. It's popped out a few new eyes around the rim and has only been in the tank a few weeks. It's always big and puffy and looking good (well, as big and puffy as one can expect from a chalice.
