It is really an amazing video!
My past weedy seadragon pair which pass away several years ago also exhibit such mating dance frequently. But I do not know that it is a mating dance at that time.

SO cool!! Thanks for posting that. I still have to make it to that part of the world to see them underwater. Looks cold though!
