I don't know about LPS. But have heard with Zoas that's how they spread out to other places. So I've been told, and in my tank I agree. I have polyps popping up all by themselves in some areas.

is anything picking at the coral?
Nope,nothing.
I have to say,all my other LPS are fine and in excellent shape.
This is the only coral with that problem.
The polyps in the edges is actually shrink a little bit, peel off and detach, until there is nothing left.

the pumps are Sunsun (similar to koralia).
