I have bought some more zoos and now I have frogspawn as well in my aquarium. The only thing that I add to my aquarium is Micro vert, Coral vite, Calcium, and Trace elements. Should I be adding zooplankton or any other stuff for these corals. Please let me know

Thank you

I wouldnt add any of that stuff. trace elements only needs to be added if you are bad about doing water changes.....If you do atleast monthly changes your salt mix has plenty of trace elements. If you feed your fish and have the proper lighting that is basically all your corals need. There are some exceptions. Research every coral you own to see if it requires occasional spot feeding. If it does feed it brine or mysis with a turkey baster. I would immediately stop the micro vert, coralvite, and trace elements. Only add calcium if your calcium test indicates calcium is low......

I wouldn't add any of those things you listed either. Some zoanthids( palythoa ,protopalythoa, for exampe) will eat some zooplankton such as cyclopeeze. However, they are all highly autotrophic, relying on light and photosynthesis for almost all of the food they need. Zoanthus in particular do virtually no feeding. Clean low nutrient water , high light and brisk flow work best for me.

Salinty at 1.026 +/- .01 works well. . I wouldn't worry too much about calcium , alkalinity or magnesium for these corals since they do little if any calcification. You will, however want to deep these three elements in acceptable ranges( calcium 350ppm to 450 ppm, alkalinity 7 to 11 dkh and magnesium 1200ppm to 1500ppm or so ) for coraline and other calcifying organissms.
